Nugget Market is looking for a PHP Developer to join our team. Come help us build the next generation of software that powers our customer-facing web properties and back-of-house marketing applications. We’re building on top of a LAMP tech stack using technologies like PHP, JavaScript, CSS, MySQL, and Git. Our applications are custom-built and do not use Laravel or WordPress We have a passionate and extremely talented team of developers, and we could use your help!

*Individual associate hourly rates are based on factors including experience, location and length of employment.

The primary responsibilities of this position include the following, but are not limited to:

• Write and maintain PHP, SQL, and JavaScript code that powers consumer-facing websites and back-end applications
• Identify and fix bugs while ensuring security and adherence to best practices
• Stay up to date with evolving technologies and maintain high code quality standards
• Collaborate with the team to support business objectives

Qualifications:

• 5+ years writing and deploying LAMP-based web applications
• Proficiency with MySQL database optimization
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Basic web server administration skills a plus
• Able to work on site in a friendly office setting
• Great communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn new things
• Interest in open-source technologies
• Commitment to code quality, best practices, and automated testing
