We are currently offering a $1,000 sign-on bonus for this position!

Are you interested in learning to mix, create and bake handcrafted artisan bread and lots of it? Nugget Market Kitchen is looking for dedicated bakery enthusiasts to join our passionate and talented bakery team! This is a full time position with shifts from 1:30pm to 11:00pm or 2:30pm to Midnight. Starting wage is $18/hour based upon experience.

The bread mixer's primary responsibilities include mixing and preparing hundreds of hand-formed artisan breads each shift. You will also have an opportunity to bake. This will involve prepping produce and deli products for bakery items; mixing and scaling ingredients; benching dough; loading carts and racks with product; lifting and stacking flour; and operating all kitchen machinery including ovens, proofers, mixers and dough dividers while maintaining a clean, sanitary and attractive work environment. 



You should meet the following minimum requirements:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Possess basic math skills
  • Physical ability to mix hundreds of pounds of dough and form into loaves
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds
  • Have intermediate product knowledge including knowledge of temperature, chemical reactions, and bakery products
  • Basic understanding of the English language, which includes the ability to communicate and read basic instructions, schedules and signage
  • Have a passion for putting out a great product consistently
  • A positive attitude is essential!
