    Responsibilities

    As a Loss Prevention Agent, your primary duties include protecting products and financial integrity of the store by conducting surveillance, writing reports, and apprehending and detaining violators of store policies and the law. You are required to demonstrate sufficient self-defense skills and positive officer safety skills, as well as be able to apprehend and arrest (by means of handcuffs and/or physical restraints) shoplifters, potentially violent and/or combative subjects.

    Qualifications

    • Must be at least 18 years of age
    • Basic understanding of the English language, which includes the ability to communicate and read basic instructions, schedules and signage
    • Self-motivated with excellent time management skills
    • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of circumstances
    • Excellent writing skills
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Basic computer skills
    • Committed to ethical behavior
